Reporting content and complaints
Here's how to report illegal content or violations of our Community Guidelines, how we make decisions, and how you can challenge a decision (Digital Services Act, Regulation (EU) 2022/2065).
Reporting
- In the app: Tap the player name and choose “Report”.
- By email: legal@ariggato.com, subject “Report”.
So that we can act quickly, we need:
- What and where: the player name, the game and, if possible, a screenshot;
- Why: a short explanation of why the content is illegal or breaks our rules;
- Who you are: your name and email address (except for reports of child sexual abuse material, which you can also send anonymously);
- Confirmation: a statement that your information is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
You'll get a confirmation of receipt and find out what we decided.
How we decide
People on our team review every report carefully, objectively and promptly, with reports involving children and violence first. Automated filters help us detect problems; decisions to suspend accounts are always made by a human. If we suspect a crime that threatens someone's life or safety, we inform the competent authorities immediately.
If we take action against content or an account, the person affected receives a statement of reasons: what we decided, on what basis, whether automated means were involved, and what options for redress are available.
Complaints about a decision
You can file a complaint free of charge within six months if we
- removed or restricted content you posted,
- suspended or restricted your account, or
- took no action on your report.
To do so, simply reply to our decision email or write to legal@ariggato.com, subject “Complaint”. Someone other than the person who made the original decision will review the case again. If it turns out we were wrong, we will reverse the action without undue delay.
Other options
- Out-of-court dispute settlement: You can turn to an out-of-court dispute settlement body certified under Art. 21 DSA. The European Commission publishes a list on its Digital Services Act website.
- Courts: You can always take legal action in court.
- Authorities: You can file complaints about us with the Digital Services Coordinator in your country.
